iRest Yoga Nidra is a researched-based protocol that can reduce stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, chemical dependency, and post-traumatic stress. The intention of this experience is to provide you with the tools to relax deeply, release stress and increase resiliency. This guided meditation is done lying down so come in warm, comfortable clothes.

Participants will receive tips for integrating this practice at home, as well a recording of the session they will experience during the workshop. No experience required.

About your Instructor: Laurie Markowitz, owner of Balancing Owl Yoga, has been certified and leading iRest Yoga Nidra sessions since 2013. She loves sharing her passion for this practice with others and fostering a community of self-care, connection and empowerment. Laurie is a RYT200 with a focus in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, is a certified Level 2 Reiki practitioner and completed her advanced 300-hr. training with Josh Summers specializing in Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga and Yin Meditation.
