Join Laurie Markowitz, studio owner, for an empowering, judgment-free introduction to yoga. You’ll gain the knowledge, confidence, and tools to practice yoga in a way that feels authentic, accessible, and enjoyable for you.

What You’ll Learn & Experience:

  • The 8 Limbs of Yoga – An overview beyond just the physical poses (asana), a brief history, including what’s important to know about the practice and how it can help you go deeper into your practice for more overall benefits for the mind, body and spirit.

  • Experience simple, calming techniques to center your mind and enhance focus both on the mat and in life.

  • Learn pranayama breathing techniques to enhance at-home meditation or to deepen your asana practice whether on your own or in studio classes.

  • Learn about studio etiquette and culture so you feel at ease in any studio setting.

Fee: $45 (includes 1-month of unlimited yoga classes). Limited to 14 participants.
