Chinese Healing for Practical Use at Home Specialty Workshop

  • Balancing Owl Yoga 6017 Post Rd Dublin, OH 43017 (map)

Join Katie Kelly, Licensed Acupuncturist and Guest Presenter, Laurie Gyurko, for an afternoon of learning and applying practical tools for healing.

You might have heard of Acupuncture, Yin Yoga, Cupping, acupressure points, maybe even Gua sha? These all come from Traditional Chinese Medicine and can be used to heal common ailments such as headaches, low back pain, arthritis, allergies, stress, anxiety, depression and more. There are even things you can do at home.

These techniques have been around for over 2000 years and are based on energy (qi) flowing within specific, connected channels in the body. Blockages or disruption of qi create disharmony, leading to discomfort and illness. Applying these simple techniques can promote more balance in the body and in your life.

In this workshop, you’ll learn more about which techniques can help you with specific ailments. Practice applying pressure to specific acupressure points, participate in Yin yoga poses and in demos of cupping, acupuncture, and Gua sha. Take home tools for ear acupressure and Gua sha to promote overall healing and wellness. No experience required. All levels welcome.
