Deep Release Outdoor Yoga

A non-flow class focused on longer holds with a heavy emphasis on hamstrings, shoulders and low back/hips. Ideal to help elongate muscles and repair connective tissue, but in traditional yoga style with a meditative opening and ending in Savasana. Gentle, supported postures are held for between 1 and 3 minutes, recharging the body’s energetic system and inviting the mind to focus inward. A perfect complement to balance the more active styles of yoga or movements.

This class will take place in the open field behind the studio. There are shaded and sunny spots so please plan accordingly. Please bring a mat and props as needed, or give yourself enough time to go into the studio to borrow our props. Recommended are a mat, blanket, 2 blocks, and strap.


In the event of inclement weather, instructor will notify students of cancellation at least 1-hour prior and invite students to do online recording from home.
