Rebecca Stanforth, Licensed Massage Therapist

Rebecca Stanforth, LMT has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007. She has completed continuing education classes in prenatal, cupping, oncology massage, and hot stone massage. After many years of experience working with Chiropractors and in clinics, Rebecca found her calling in more holistic practices.

Since 2019, Rebecca has been traveling to Virginia and the Cedarstone Massage School to learn Native American Stone Medicine. In November of 2022, she completed her program to become a Certified Stone Walker, or Inyan Mani. These specific bodywork therapies come from The Santé People, in the Dakota tribe, of the Sioux Nation. Stone Medicine incorporates massage, hot and chilled stones, aromatherapy, and sound therapy for the healing and wellness of mind, body, heart, and spirit. Healing Hands (energy work) also comes from the Stone Medicine traditions.

Specialties include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger point, Cupping, Therapeutic massage, hot stones, Healing Hands, and Stone Medicine.

In addition to massage therapy, Rebecca has over 20 years of experience teaching and practicing Taekwondo. She has a master’s degree in psychology research focused on the mental health benefits of alternative medicines, like massage, martial arts, yoga, sound therapies, and energy work.
