Shweta teaches Slow Flow on Monday Evenings from 6-7pm

Q- How often to you clean the props (blankets, blocks, bolsters, straps)?

A- We are currently washing all blankets weekly. Blocks and bolsters are wiped clean weekly with all natural doTerra Onguard cleaner/water blend. Straps are taken home and washed quarterly. Cleaning supplies is also available for students to clean props before and after use.

Students- if you are sick with flu-like symptoms: fever, cough, cold, diarrhea, please respect your fellow students and teachers/practitioners and refrain from coming to the studio and practicing in group classes or attending private sessions. You will not have to pay if you let us know in advance if you are cancelling due to illness. Also if you at anytime sneeze or cough into our blankets, please give them to a teacher to launder and do not put back in the pile.

Q- Do I need to register in advance for classes?

A- Pre-registration is required for all classes. If you have questions about your online log-in information, see the next question.

Q-What is the best way to contact the studio if I have questions or need help with information, technical support, notifications, etc.?

A- Email is best as we can respond almost immediately in most cases. Next I'd recommend texting the studio. Our studio phone leaves a message a Google voicemail box so if you prefer to call, someone will text/call you back within 24 hours.

Q- What if I left something at the studio?

A- All forgotten yoga mats are placed on the shelf in the small room to the right. Valuables are kept at the front desk.  Feel free to check the next time you are in or contact us.

Q- What are the rules around being quiet in the hallways?

A- Most days, there is either a class or session going on in one of our rooms and/or a massage or reiki session going on in one of our private rooms. If you're coming in for a class right after one that is finishing up, chances are they are in shavasana and can hear everything going on out side of the classroom door. In the office, if the massage/reiki door is closed, there is a session going on. We appreciate you keeping your voices down when in the front hallway or office so that all clients can enjoy their experience.

Q- Can I come to class if it's already started?

A- We appreciate you making the time to come at least 5 minutes in advance to have time to prepare your space, turn off your phone, etc., but realize there are exceptions with traffic, etc. We always keep the door open at least 5 minutes after the start of class. If you are late, please enter and prepare your space quietly so that you don't disturb your fellow yogi's. If the door is locked after 5 minutes, we hope you understand that it is not safe to keep it unlocked with valuables in the office and fair to disrupt fellow students once centering has begun.

Q- How do I know if classes are cancelled due to weather, etc.?

A- The most current schedule of classes is always updated on our website under "Class Schedule" or directly on Mind/Body or the Mind/Body app., so check here before coming if you're unsure. If we cancel classes due to weather, which we'll do if Dublin Schools are closed or we’re under a Level 2 snow emergency, it will be posted at the top of the scrolling bar on our website.

Q- Can my son or daughter Attend Class With Me?

A- If you have a child between the ages of 12 – 17, they may attend class with you or a guardian as long as they have pre-registered and the parent has signed off on the online liability during registration. If your child is under 12, we don’t typically recommend that they attend an adult class.  Children should be registered and paid for separately.

Q- What Should I Know As A New Student?

What to bring and wear: Wear comfortable clothes, preferably dress in layers, and bring a refillable water bottle (we have filtered water to refill). Bring a mat if you have it, or feel free to borrow one of ours located in a basket in the back of the room (after class, use the spray/towel provided to wipe down mat before returning).

Personal belongings: When entering our studio, please remove your shoes and hang coats/belongings in space provided in the office area. We lock the outside doors once class begins. Please ensure you turn off your cell phones and electronics if bringing them into the building. Even when in the office area, we can still hear them during class and private sessions (massage, acupuncture, energy healing).

Sign in: All students are asked to pre-register online prior to coming. Once you come in, please follow the signs to check in on the iPAD at the desk. If you are new to the studio, please introduce yourself to the teacher and they can help you get set up and comfortable.

Please be on time: Please allow yourself enough time to sign in and settle into class. On your first visit to our studio, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork prior to the beginning of class. During most classes, the outside door will be locked 5 minutes after the class start time to allow for your safety.

Yoga Props: As you enter the class, find a space for your mat. Take note of which props the instructor has assembled on their mat and find the same props for your space, or any you think you'll need for your practice. We also suggest taking an eye pillow and round bolster for shavasana (meditation) at the end of practice. After class, please return all props to their appropriate place. Be mindful to refold blankets to their original fold and clean borrowed mats. As a courtesy, please also be mindful to not to step on neighboring mats as you enter and leave class.

Noise Level: We have many rooms at the studio so there is a good chance other classes or services are in session. While in the front entryway or registration area, please hold your conversations to a whisper to show respect for other clients. Please also turn electronics off prior to entering the studio.

Other Recommendations:

  • Refrain from wearing strong scents to class.

  • Yoga clothes should be stretchy and invite movement within the body. We recommend practicing in bare feet or with yoga grip socks.

  • Always practice at your own comfort level and let the teacher know if you have any injuries or would like modifications for any pose. We also encourage you to connect with your instructor after class to ask questions about the class.

  • The more you practice, the greater you will feel!
