Mary Coleman, instructor
ERYT500, CHHC- Mary has experienced profound personal healing through her practice of yoga and Ayurveda. She believes that yoga and Ayurveda hold the key to sustainable wellness in body, mind and spirit. She believes that each person holds within them the key to their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being and that it is her task to help, encourage and support them connect with that wisdom. She also believes that we are meant to be in service to others and through this service, we find our fulfillment.
Mary offers well-balanced classes that empower every level of practitioner whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner. In addition to public classes, Mary works privately with clients with traumatic brain injuries, neurological impairment, moral injury, trauma and anxiety. She uses the wisdom of yoga to build physical, emotional and spiritual resiliency.
Mary Ellen served as a faculty member and Assistant Director of Yoga Teacher Training with Laurel Hodory and Faculty from 2013-2017. In addition to sharing yoga with the community, Mary Ellen is the owner of Cherished Soul Yoga and Wellness where she blends yoga, Ayurveda and her training as a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Playing Big Facilitator to empower her clients to live lives of health, passion and purpose.
