Carol Schubert, Instructor

RYT 200 - Certified by the Yoga on High Teacher Training Institute, Carol started practicing at this studio in 2011. It was love at first sight. Balancing Owl is a magical place where peace and good health can be found. After seeing physicians and chiropractors for hip/low back pain and finding no relief, she turned to yoga on the advice of a friend and within 3 years, was teaching at the studio, pain free. 

Carol is also trained in Restorative Yoga, Reiki, YIN yoga, and iRest Yoga Nidra. She is committed to assisting her students to become more self-aware and to learn body awareness and breathing techniques that heal and empower. Her Gentle Yoga classes are slow-paced and include basic yoga poses, with the emphasis on body alignment rather than flow.  Beginners are welcome!
