Lex Smith, Instructor
RYT-200 – Lex's yoga journey began in 2013 with a nerve injury. She quickly realized the healing power behind yoga and mindfulness. After practicing hot yoga for 2 years, she took the first step and entered teacher training through Yoga On High in Columbus, Ohio. She discovered the importance of community, breath, alignment, and grounding. Specializing in Vinyasa flow, Lex believes that working on a mind/body connection leads to healing both physically and mentally.
Lex is currently enrolled in her 300hr teacher training and is attuned in Reiki levels 1 and 2. She also has a focus in Trauma Sensitive yoga which zeroes in on PTSD and anxiety. Lex loves to incorporate breathing practices, intention setting, and restorative yoga into her flow classes hoping to bring students a sense of balance, ease, and calm into their busy lives. She believes that yoga is for EVERYbody and everyBODY.
