Kimberly Kayler, Instructor
E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500, YACEP® - Building on a decade of marathon running, Kimberly found yoga when she simply couldn't get the same mental release she once did on a run. Her love for yoga quickly grew as she recognized both its physical and mental benefits. Kimberly has extensively studied how yoga is a solution for chronic pain and PTSD. A certified PiYo instructor, she also has extensive training in yin yoga, mobility and mat pilates. Kimberly is the founder and lead for our teacher training program at Balancing Owl Yoga.
Kimberly’s teaching experience includes a variety of athletes including runners, cyclists as well as extensive experience working with Crossfit athletes and veterans. She believes that yoga should complement other exercise programs and be customized to the individual body. In addition to teaching yoga, she is a marketing professor at Columbus State, owner of a public relations firm, and is the mother of two college-aged boys. She enjoys stand-up paddle-boarding and snowshoeing while not running or on her mat.
